Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented FMCG Cash Van Sales Cum Merchandiser with a proven track record in Qatar’s FMCG market. This role is exclusively for candidates with prior sales experience in FMCG companies in Qatar and requires a valid Qatar-issued driving license. The ideal candidate will handle product sales, merchandising, and customer relationships while efficiently operating a company-provided vehicle to service retail outlets.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Distribution:
- Drive the cash van to designated retail outlets according to the daily route plan.
- Sell FMCG products directly to customers, ensuring accurate pricing and prompt payment collection.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers to enhance sales and ensure loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the management.
- Merchandising:
- Ensure proper product displays at all outlets as per company guidelines.
- Manage stock rotation and monitor product expiry dates.
- Replenish stock to maintain optimal product levels and ensure continuous availability.
- Track competitor activities and provide feedback to management.
- Customer Service:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Offer product recommendations and highlight ongoing promotions.
- Gather customer feedback to improve service and product offerings.
- Inventory & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and payments collected.
- Submit detailed sales and inventory reports to the supervisor daily.
- Ensure the cash van is stocked appropriately based on the route plan.
- Route Planning & Vehicle Maintenance:
- Plan efficient delivery routes to cover all assigned retail outlets promptly.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and report any issues immediately.
- Adhere to safety standards while driving and handling products.
Education + Experience
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience with FMCG companies in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of the local retail market and FMCG distribution channels in Qatar.
- Valid light driving license issued in Qatar (mandatory); an additional Qatar-issued medium truck license is a major advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or marketing are a plus.
- Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Language: Proficiency in Malayalam is mandatory. Knowledge of other native languages (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Kannada) is a significant advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy products when needed.

- Salary: Minimum QR 2,600 per month.
- Allowances: Food allowance of QR 300 per month.
- Transportation: Company vehicle provided for use during work hours.

- Incentives: Sales commission and bonuses upon achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Working Days: Saturday to Thursday.
- Working Hours: 10 hours per day (flexibility expected to meet sales targets).
- Contract: 2-year renewable contract.
- Probation Period: 3 months.
